NOX-RUST 2737 is an exceptional oil-based thixotropic rust preventive designed to protect pipe threads, field equipment, and fabricated parts from corrosion during transit or extended periods of outdoor storage. This SACI Technology-based fully optimized soft, grease-like self-healing coating provides the highest rust protection level (>5,000 hrs salt spray). The film thickness of this 100% solids product can easily be controlled by brush or airless spray.

The thin consistency (approximately NLGI grade 0) improves brush-ability onto pipe threads to ensure maximum coverage. The coating readily displaces water to ensure good bonding with rust protection. Also, its active ingredients protect from acid fume and oxidation. There is no requirement for special cleaning procedures. NOX-RUST 2737 can be removed using mineral spirits or an alkaline cleaner.
