Defence

The basic responsibility of our defence forces is to safeguard the territorial integrity of the nation against external aggression. Due to the country's long borders encompassing different geographical and climatic conditions such as desert terrain on the west, snow-covered mountains in the north, thick rain-fed mountainous jungles in the east and a vast coastline, the forces have to constantly prepare themselves for diverse challenges. One such challenge is protection of the vast range of ordnance equipments it possesses.

As the western defence forces have found, usage of appropriate preservation techniques go a long way in increasing the “operational readiness” of equipment & personnel alike and saving on great losses to national wealth due to scrapping of expensive equipment and armaments.

Daubert has worked keenly with the American military since the 1930's to develop suitable & versatile needs of the defence forces. Today, the western forces have well defined preservation techniques and procedures based on the VCI & CCI technologies due to their inherent advantages in mothballing and preservation over other expensive & complex alternatives such as cocooning and environment modification systems and more conventional ineffective methods like “Greasing”.

Our Products are effectively used by various defence forces for corrosion protection of small arms, ammunition, artillery, electronics and other combat equipments such as vessels, tanks and aircrafts. Long-term protection of these complex equipments demand the combined application of various Daubert products.

Daubert VCI & Nox Rust products conform to the various AME-MIL-SPECS (American Military Specifications) and are on the QPL (Qualified Product List) on the US department of defence.

With the ever-escalating costs of operations & keeping pace with the demands of contemporary advancements, it is imperative that the Indian Armed Forces adopt better corrosion management techniques.
